it's been said we suffer three deaths:
            1) when you die
            2) when you are buried
            3) when you are forgotten

today miso died her second death as
we buried her in front of our home,
wrapped in her favorite blanket with
a handful of treats by her mouth, we
laid her down, set stones in a circle
and sprinkled catnip all around. her
grave was easy to fill but the hole
she leaves in our lives is far larger.
