| some days i feel i have perfected my own happiness. then i wonder, is that all there is? the internet used to be fun. it seemed a way to concentrate and amplify ego.(irony) now social media has a diffusing effect. post, like, forget. neutral blue. just last week we were excited to see a few patches of snow on mauna kea and joked we had a white christmas. but that was nothing compared to what we saw today. it reminded me of the olympic peninsula as seen from seattle, except we were looking at it from a rugged outcropping in blinding sun and blazing heat from edge of warm azure ocean... |
