180 carries a double meaning. Literally, it signifies 180 seconds,
the duration of each 3-minute thematic video compilation in this series.
Metaphorically, there is the 180-degree turn, a complete reversal of direction.

Imposing these arbitrary limits makes it a game for both me and the viewer.
Conceiving keywords that work and then editing down to a scant three minutes
is a challenge, and I hope the viewer has fun finding the connection in each clip.

The first six in the series, commissioned and presented by 4Culture in Seattle,
were: bird, closeup, green, hammer, snow, yellow. More are being produced.

Reviews of 180:

180 was webcast throughout November 2008 at submedia.tv and is now archived at blip.tv.
