this might not look like much sun, but here at soggy bottom it's a thrill just to see it, the first time in months that it's cleared the tree line out back and you can feel the planet tilting as we emerge from the season of perpetual shadow. the fog burned off and the sky looked brand new. wish i could have stayed but i had to hasten away, raced to the ferry, 5th ride in 3 days in a sort of loop de loop. |
