be mistaken for a golf course, and indeed a section
of one of these interrelated ancient earthworks is still being used as a links by the Moundbuilders Country Club--cz why not throw a little cultural appropriation on top after you've already taken the land? i doubt there were trees here in this ceremonial site's heyday given the architecture is astronomically aligned and, like yesterday, thousands would gather to watch the sky. the true mound builders were not basketmakers, but the people who came after were. |
