Our jeweler friend Debbie used to work for a silversmith whose rainy day project was to empty all the used vacuum cleaner bags she'd been saving to search for silver shavings she'd sucked from the floor, the proverbial needle in the dander. Don't buy into that "single use only" line trotted out by godless corporations --they're only trying to get you to consume heedlessly. In addition to "disposable" vacuum bags, other items which can be re-used economically: aluminum foil, ziploc baggies, dental floss, single-use cameras, pizza boxes, and calendars. |
