Past futurists probably didn't predict 21st century medical science would consist of leaky tents held down by sandbags & lit with string lights, but then again this is an emergency and the whole process of getting a second jab was pretty smooth, efficient, and friendly. As with first visit, there were more personnel than patients, most with nothing to do, like this bored guardsman passing the time by blasting War Pigs on his phone for all to hear. It was kind of a romantic date, first a long Septa busride up 7th, followed by our couple pod double poke, then lunch at an outdoor table, watching and waiting for side effects, dip- ping chips in a shared bowl. |
