When I last updated this site 5 weeks ago I didn't expect to take a month-plus hiatus—the longest dry spell since I launched PoD in January 1998. But I needed that time to focus on creating the look and feel of robZtv, the definitive archive of the pocket movie project I inadvertently started in February 2003. Seven years later, after a few false starts and thousands of hours of work, it's no exaggeration to say I'm thrilled to present the first three volumes of this epic video memoir as DVD-on-demand.

I've always felt like a dabbler, nibbling around the edges of things but never following through on anything really substantial. Now, for the first time, I feel as if I've created a work which is fully realized. Although there are many more volumes in the series to come, the die is cast, the template is ready, and all that remains is to make more trips to the well and keep filling buckets, so to speak.

I thank all the friends, family, and strangers who have made the journey so interesting and I hope you'll be intrigued enough to give some shelfspace to this intimate film chronicle.
