The plan was to ride bikes from Jakub to Tabor but the rain came so we took a train to Prague to wait out the weather. There are worse places to be stuck with a lot of time and nothing to do. It's a great town for walking and drinking. In between stops at U Zlateho Tygra, U Rudolfina, Akropolis, and Klub Biliard, we nipped at a bottle of Becherovka. A place which allows drinking in the streets and tolerates people peeing in public when they have no other option strikes me as sensible and civilized; a welcome change from the American way of fear and punishment. |
