I never miss New York more
than when it snows there a lot
as it did this week--2 feet deep
in Central Park! It hardly ever
snows in Seattle. Today was a
slight exception, with small
accumulations at the city's
higher elevations, such as atop
Queen Anne where enough fell
to almost bury grass blades in
some locations. The sun came
out and soon it was melted,
except in the shade where it
lingered just a little bit longer.
Schools remained open, there
was no sledding in the streets.
