Wanek are friends and collaborators in art. Martin is the painter responsible for the distinctive look of Uz Jsme Doma's album art. Aurel is a stop-motion animator best known in the US for The Magic Bell. Miroslav has been the lead composer of Uz Jsme Doma for 20 years and has more recently been branching out into writing soundtracks and screenplays for film and television. Tonight they met in Aurel's fledgling animation studio and movie theater in Malesov to share some drinks and discuss their latest collaboration, a new film to be directed by Aurel, designed by Martin, and scored by Mirek. |
