the train station is so full of life
it's fucking ridiculous. all the
molecules vibrating, even when
standing in place. this line looks
insufferable, but it moved quickly
out the door, onto the platform,
where it broke into many segments, one at the end
of each car. waiting to board, the conductor ask, "Who's
going to Portland?" Most raised their hands and I yelled,
"Portland! Woooo!" Many laughed. The conductor smiled:
"One more outburst like that and you're at the end of the line."
I looked back, only a few people behind us: "That wouldn't be so bad..." |
