We know that materialism
Is not a human value.

Is making us weak, fat and self-serving,
Lonely, dissatisfied and afraid.
Today we remain fixed upon
Our distraction and addictions,
Even as our ignorant underbelly
Is struck by the opposition.

Wake up, Americans!
Remember,
To be victim, then perpetrator
Is a cycle, not an ending.
And military supremacy
Is not a long-term solution.

Stand up for human rights and human values.
